Love Personality Type #1: The Adventurer [EXCLUSIVE SNEAK PEEK]

As promised yesterday, today kicks off a week of sharing Love’s trade-marked (not really) Personality Types. A little bit of background: The Romantics, which comes out November 1, is narrated by Love. Yes, the entity. Love is the one pulling the strings for our main character, trying to get him to find the right girl. Along the way, Love shares a few Love Personality Types, different ways people have of interacting with each other and romance. The Adventurer is the first one.

Adventurer:

One who primarily seeks out a partner for life’s adventures (and misadventures), and who doesn’t feel the need for overly romantic gestures, saccharine phrases, or deep discussions about the future. May result in downplaying more serious emotions or situations in favor of “just seeing where it goes.” May also result in a fun, fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants relationship that keeps both partners excited and fulfilled.
